The Support Register

Exactly how NApp is funded. How many members support it, what the price is today, the formula that sets it, and every change ever made. Nothing is hidden.

and it only ever goes down

The price sets itself

One published formula, one published target. The whole monthly cost of running NApp is shared across everyone who supports it — so every new supporter makes it cheaper for all.

We could not load the numbers just now.

The page is fine — our server did not answer. The promise below stands either way. Try again in a moment.

price = max(₹11, ⌈₹25,000 ÷ supporting members⌉) → rounded up to the nearest friendly price

₹25,000 a month is the whole collection target — servers, storage, and the map — published here because nothing about this is hidden.

The milestones
MilestonePrice locks to
Founding — the first supporters₹49 / month
1,000 supporting members₹29 / month
2,000 supporting members₹19 / month
5,000 supporting members₹11 / month — the floor

The price never rises. Reaching a milestone locks the lower price for everyone, forever — and existing autopay mandates never need to be touched, because a mandate only ever charges the same or less than it was set up for.

Every price change, forever
The register today

Navodayans are on the platform; of them currently support it. Every member keeps full reading access either way — reading, commenting and reacting stay free for every Navodayan, always.

One working exception, stated in the open: the governance seats — admins and judiciary members — are never locked out by a payment issue, because those seats must keep working for everyone at all times. They support the platform voluntarily like any member, and they appear in the supporter count only when they do.

Beyond the subscription, voluntary donations are welcome any time — gifts to the platform, counted in the money and never as members.

Why this isn’t free

Servers, storage and the map cost real money every month. The founder’s letter says it plainly — and this page exists so you can see exactly where that stands.
